A THOUSAND MILES OF IRONY
Once upon a thousand miles When emotions are cloaked in deceitful smiles Tongues coated with smothering lies Drunkenness and emptiness in it time flies Tombs on dump sites heard the infant cries Words and portions of the dark sages Seeking wisdom and power of the ages Destroying humanity with their philosophical pages A man can only be born in two stages In which the aftermath is wages A thousand miles far away A vision of hell in its making In the likes of Sodom and Gomorrah Her pool is filled with the blood of saints Jezebel and Judas all in one fold If it was a thousand miles far or near It is the same, living in fear Her water is the widow’s tears Agony and pain for those who dare A thousand miles, a story of fear What you will never do without Will forever be your downfall What you can never give out Will be what you will never get You only die when you are as good as dead
